Introducing Alysia
Having joined the salon in May as a nail tech within our Nail Team, Alysia has settled quickly made a positive impact not only on the team but also her clients. We had a few questions for Alysia now that she’s been with us for a month and wanted you to get to meet know here a little more!
Tell us a little bit about yourself?
Hi everyone I’ Alysia and I’m 21 years old from Plymouth. I love animals and have lots of pets. I’m a huge huge lover of all things nails, its a real passion. I currently work part time within the care industry along side my time in the salon which I’m looking to go full time in as soon as possible. If I could change one thing about myself, its that I can’t swim. Maybe a goal for the future!!
How are you finding live at the salon so far?
I’ve started really settling in at The Boutik salon and loving being part of the team here in Plymstock. Everyone has been so friendly and welcoming and it really does feel like I’ve been here forever. As part of the nail team everyone is very supportive and collectively we are working together to not only challenge one another but to also learn from each other.
How are the nail treatments going and what do you most love?
My new salon clients have been fantastic and its been a pleasure to meet and help them. It’s important to me that the clients feel happy and good about themselves, and that they leave having received an amazing service and are in love with their nails. I love that the possibilities are endless within nails, all you need sometimes is a great imagination and some creative flare. I love it when a client challenges me and when I deliver, the reaction is amazing!
And finally, what’s next in terms of how you want to further progress yourself?
Next up for me is to expand my nail art skill further with some dedicated training and lots of practice. I’m also planning on expanding my offering with 3D nail art treatments. One number one priority though it to continue to grow my clientele with lots of friendly faces and a great time catching up whilst I work on those nails.
